Here's a perfect example of how all pitchers can get an advantage over the batters they face using the pro-level SmartPitch® tunneling & timing tool in their training sessions and live during games.

This screenshot from the upcoming new feature shows the paths of two splitters: one 74 mph that ends up just below the knees and one 64 mph that ends up at the ankles.

The red and blue batter icons show the LATEST the batter can decide to swing or not and where to align his bat. See details of how this feature works in the pre-release announcement.

The composite below shows video freeze frames of these two pitches exactly when the balls reached home plate. The 64 mph splitter ends up just above the ankles, about 6 inches lower than the 74 mph splitter.

BUT during the time window in which the batter has to decide to swing or not, the SmartPitch® Tunneling & Timing tool shows that the two pitch paths are identical. The batter is not likely to get a hit off of the 2nd pitch, due to this excellent pitch tunneling.
