How to Fix Temporary Hiccup in iPhone

Beginning 1 May 2026, some users of the iPhone version of SmartPitch® who downloaded SmartPitch® from the AppStore may experience a hiccup in initiating a new Pitching or Hitting session.


The Android version of SmartPitch® is not affected


If you are asked to Purchase or Restore Previous Purchase upon reaching the Home page, when you press either button you may see this screen.


The Restore Purchase may not function or may give a "Restore Failed" message.


If that happens, swipe up to kill the app, then restart if by tapping the SmartPitch® icon on your phone.


That will clear up the problem and the app will function normally for measuring pitches or hitting stats.


We will release a new version of SmartPitch® for iphone shortly that corrects this hiccup, and apologize for this.
